I enjoy the Garden Girls series. Each one is truly a "cozy mystery," and so the mystery is somewhat easy to figure out, but has enough mystery remaining, that you still have to think to figure it out. By this time in the series, I am familiar with all the main characters and so I enjoy seeing how each one contributes to the story. It is just fun reading!Product details

Always a pleasure to relax and enjoy one of Hope Callahans books. And Garden Girls are my favorite of all her series of books. This one did not disappoint, was a very enjoyable story. Thank you once again for filling my evenings with the pleasure of your talented writing. Looking forward to the next Garden Girls book.
I read all of these books, all were very good. I think the author may have had a little trouble ending yhis series because it wasn't as strongly written as the first ones were. I throughly enjoyed the writing and correct spelling and sentence structure. Liked not having to read smut while envolved in a mystery. Great buys, everyone of them.
It has been fun to read and get to know the Garden Girls. There is so much southern-isms in this series of books it was like remembering growing up in the south. I have enjoyed the recipes attached to each book and hope to try some of them. I look forward to book 16 and the next series on the cruise ship.
I love this Garden Girls series! I have to force myself to put the book down so I don't finish it too soon because I don't want the story to be over in a couple of hours. The stories are suitable for a wide range of ages and are well written. I love that Hope Callaghan writes books that the stories can stand on their own merit without foul language and sex scenes. I hope she continues to write for a long time!!
And you can count on author Hope Callaghan to deliver another interesting, gentle mystery for the Garden Girls. I like knowing ahead of time that there won't be any gratuitous raw language, sex or violence - only the next adventure of this surpringly capable and (almost) fearless band of small town friends. Thanks, Hope!
Another wonderful hit by Hope Callaghan. She does it again with bringing her senior sleuth Gloria to the front. With her friends help she reveals the bad guys again with some laughs and tears along the way. If you haven't ready any of Hope's books - then pick one up. You will not be sorry!
Hope keeps getting better and better, which is impressive considering her output. This particular book was interesting given the financial-scam theme and I cringed inside, feeling sorry for poor Margaret. Could happen to any of us. But anyway. Like all of Hope's books, this is a gentle mystery with some Christian elements, but you don't have to be a Christian to enjoy it. Her characters are believable, and a new book is like getting together with old friends.
